2006 MEMORIAL CONFERENCE MESSAGES ON CD

06LHCD5-1 - Bill Smith - WE WOULD SEE JESUS - Jn 12:21 "The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus." We are made in the image and likeness of God and He has given us dominion over the entire earth and all there is. (Gen 1:26) God wishes to rule this creation through believers. He has placed over His church apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to perfect or mature the saints (His Church). The enemy of your soul (the devil) has raised up the Jezebel spirit to seduce the church and lead them astray (Rev 2:20). Bill then shows how to withstand the Jezebel spirit and follow the Holy Spirit to be transformed into the image of Christ (2 Cor 3:18). An excellent teaching of motivating the church for the end time.

06LHCD5-2 - Marvin Sistrunk - TEMPTATION - James 1:14 "But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed." This is a superb teaching on a problem common to all God's people. He shows how common lawful pleasures of life can become traps of the enemy and give him a foothold in your life. He then shows how to avoid these common traps and live a victorious life, standing against the sin which so easily besets us and run with patience the race set before us (Heb 12:1) This is an excellent message on how to avoid common traps by the enemy to bring you into bondage.

06LHCD5-3A & 3B - Dr. William Null - THE ROOTS OF OBESITY - (2 CD Set - $6.00) - Deut 21:20 "And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard." This is a two-part teaching on the roots, causes and deliverance from obesity. This portion covers God's diet in the Bible and it's relationship to disease and obesity. He then discusses modern diets and one which will aid in weight control and prevention of diabetes, blindness, cancer and infectious disease. This message concludes with deliverance ministry.

06LHCD5-4 - La Von Thompson - THE FINGER OF GOD - Luke 11:20 "But if I with the finger of God cast out devils (demons), no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you." Our position is in Jesus seated on the right hand of the Father (Eph 1:20; 2:6). La Von establishes from Scripture that as we form a close relationship with Jesus as a branch on the vine (Jn 15:1,2), we will bear much fruit. As we lean on Him and are led by the Holy Spirit, we will speak the Word of God, which will manifest the power of God, to accomplish the will of God.

06LHCD5-5 - Bill Smith - GOD IS BUILDING A HOUSE - Gen 12:1 "Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee:" As the Lord called Abram, so He is calling His people to come out from among them! Be ye holy as I am holy. (1 Cor 6:17; 1Pet 1:16). God is building a holy habitation for Himself of which Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone and we are lively stones. This building is His church. Jesus Christ is the Head and we are all members of the body. Therefore, you must cry out for wisdom and understanding so that you can die to the flesh and live for Him. This message will stir you deep in the spirit man!

06LHCD5-6 - Dr. William Null - THE SPIRIT OF GLUTTONY - Phil 3: 18-19 "For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things." This is a continuation of the teaching found on "06LHCD5-3A & 3B - Roots of Obesity". This is a clarion call on how the curse of obesity can be rooted in the sins of the fathers and follows family blood lines. This message further declares how the reaction to rejection can fuel overeating through both fear and pride. Also dealt with is the necessity of denying the lust of the flesh to overeat and give satan a foothold in our lives and bring us into bondage. Included in this message is a plan to change your lifestyle to overcome the false comforter and follow the true Comforter sent by the God of all comfort (2 Cor 1:3)

06LHCD5-7 - Ronnie Bijeaux - MICHMASH - 1 Cor 4:5 "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." Michmash means "hidden" in Hebrew. God will bring out those hidden things in our hearts to have us deal with them. This will produce in us DNA - Divine Noble Ability. It will help us accomplish our potential, discover excellence and reach our goals, which God has set for us, and remove vanity.

06LHCD5-8 - La Von Thomson - BETRAYAL - Mr 13:12 "Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death." This teaching begins with the definition of the word "betray". 1) to lead astray, to seduce, 2) to deliver to the enemy by treachery, 3) to fail or desert in terms of need, 4) to disclose in violation of confidence. Biblical examples of Joseph, Samson, David, Absalom, Peter and Judas are discussed. La Von then points out how each example applies to our Christian walk today and how to avoid and respond to betrayal.

06LHCD5-9 - Cheryl Batts - EARTHWORMS - God wants us to have a Kingdom vision and Rhema revelation to know that we know what God wants in all areas of our life. The deliverance on the inside is to reveal His Kingdom on the outside. He uses invisible forces in our lives like "earthworms" to break up the soil in our hearts. He wants to shift us - move us - by the silent moving of the Holy Spirit, prayer, discipline, and meditation on God's Word. These things change our minds, wills and emotions. This challenging message will encourage you to let God move in your life and heart to be all you can for His Kingdom.

06LHCD5-10 - Marvin Sistrunk - FEAR - 2 Tim 1:7 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Fear can imprison, discourage and make you ill. It has been said that 77% of what we think is fearful and negative. We must control our thoughts. (2 Cor 10:5). The Word consistently encourages us not to be fearful but to trust in God and make Him our strong tower of protection. Ministry for healing and deliverance concludes this teaching.

06LHCD5-11- La Von Thompson - DEMONOLOGY 101 - Mt 12:43 "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none." Bro. Thompson begins by explaining that evil spirits are created entities and can be in only one place at one time, limited in knowledge and power, whereas the Holy Spirit is omnipotent, omni-present and omniniscient. He then shows by Scripture, the various qualities of demons - they can walk, search, have emotions, get tired, lose their power, see, talk, believe, will, have memory, examine things and plan or scheme. This is an excellent profile of the capabilities of a demon and contrary to the title, the message is not just for beginners.

06LHCD5-1L - Carla Butaud - COMFORT FOR THE BROKEN HEART - Carla shares a list of symptoms that could indicate you have a bruised or broken heart. We all have a dump in our lives - that place that is generally hidden that no one sees - where the garbage goes. If not dealt with, the dump begins to attract nasty stuff that can cause disease. Jesus becomes our "divine garbage man" and He knows just what to do with our garbage. Broken hearted means to crush completely. The good news is "He hath sent me (Jesus) to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised." Lk 4:18 Carla concludes this teaching with deliverance ministry.

06LHCD5-2L - Gayle Patton - HOW SOON WE FORGET - "Everytime I praise Him, I remember what He has done for me the last time." God delights when we tell of His righteousness, goodness, greatness and power. He has delivered and healed us from sickness, grief, demons and situations in the past and he can do it again and again! God moved and delivered the Israelites over and over but they quickly forgot it. The Pharisees did not give credit where credit was due and hardened their hearts. God wants us to rehearse His righteous acts, speak of His Kingdom and power, commemorate and celebrate. "Look what the Lord has done." This message encourages you to thank God for what He has done and expect the same delivering and healing power in the future.

06LHCD5- 3L A & B - Carla Butaud - EVIL HEART OF UNBELIEF - (2 CD Set - $6.00) - Carla begins by reading Eph 3 and explaining that revelation of the Word is progressive. When Paul wrote it, he was seeing things that were hidden in the Old Testament times and that this is still happening. We're beginning to see at new thing. God has had it in His plan but now is the time for it to break forth - Kingdom principles! She reminds us that seeing the things that Jesus did and then reading Jn 14:12, that the things He did, we can do also. We are supposed to be preaching the gospel, healing the sick, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers, and casting out demons and we haven't done some of these things yet. Then there are the things He did - like walk on water. He defied the natural laws of this earth. There is a kingdom He operated in that we haven't even scratched the surface of, i.e. law of multiplication with the loaves & fishes. She talks about taking dominion. It's been given to us but nothing will happen until we JUST DO IT! Everywhere Jesus went He healed and delivered. We're not doing it because we just don't believe it - because of the evil heart of unbelief - it steals, kills & destroys. Isn't it time we do what Jesus did so we can get on with the "even greater things"? Heb 3:8 - 4:13, it was their unbelief that kept the children of Israel from entering in to the promised land. Can it be that unbelief is the root of all our sin?
