Dearest Friends:

The 2005 Summer Camp for Children and Youth was a tremendous success. The anointed leadership of Diane Bijeaux and her team presented a theme of Obedience, based on being positioned "UNDER GOD'S UMBRELLA". They learned about the Patriotic Umbrella of 1 Timothy 2:1-8 (The children sent a letter to President Bush letting him know they were praying for him); the Family Umbrella of Ephesians 6:1-3; the Gospel Umbrella which includes salvation and baptism, and the Church Umbrella of Hebrews 10:19-25. It was amazing to see how the Holy Ghost tied everything together! We thank ALL the volunteers who participated as team leaders, lifeguards, snack helpers, ministers, and the parents and children who helped make this Summer Camp one of the most glorious ever! We went to the lake and baptized fifteen children and five adults. Several young people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Deliverance was ministered throughout the week. We continue to receive phone calls and letters with testimonies of what God did. There were children here with unsaved parents (brought by friends or relatives) and they went away better equipped to live as overcomers and prayer warriors for their family. Pray for these children to stay strong in the LORD, to see their parents come to Jesus.

The adults were privileged to hear solid truth from men and women of God who prepared themselves in advance, spent time hearing from God, and were ready when it was their turn, to deliver fresh manna to God's people. We prayerfully seek the Lord to help us invite ministry whose primary agenda is to glorify Jesus. God knows our hearts and graciously sets in place those He desires to minister here at Lake Hamilton Bible Camp. We thank Him for each one He sends, as they help us all come into the fullness of Christ. We began Saturday evening with Carl Fox laying the foundation and showing us how to walk with Jesus. Throughout the week, Nathan Hopson shared principles of how to live a victorious Christian life implementing prayer, fasting, guarding your tongue and allowing the Word of God to dwell in you to transform you. Cheryl Batts laid out the course of victory for us to take over the kings in our lives. Clement Humbard urged us to be ready and taught how to participate in the Glory of the LORD that is yet to come. Carla Butaud discussed some of satan's most effective devices and how to defeat them. Dr. William Null shared light on the spirit of bondage and it's ability to control a person. Jim Landry revealed the treasure that delegated authority can be when we flow in God's order. Chris Simpson brought truth to how lies hinder our walk with God. The clarion call throughout the week focused on the individual's daily walk with the LORD and the ability He has given each of us to defeat the enemy as we walk IN HIM. This series of meetings concluded in an unusual way Friday morning with me asking several people who have been a part of Lake Hamilton Bible Camp to share a brief testimony. We titled it "Some of Glen's Family". Please consider obtaining the entire conference on CD. Neither this letter nor the synopsis can fully convey the value of each message.

We truly thank all who have contributed towards the repair of the camp's backhoe. The need far exceeded our original estimate but God has faithfully provided with just enough left over to buy the diesel fuel to drive it back to camp. The backhoe situation became like remodeling a house. Once you tear down some walls you find things wrong that have to be fixed. Praise God the mechanics spotted the problems and were able to fix them.

LABOR DAY CAMP is fast approaching. It will begin September 1, 2005, with supper at 5:00 pm and the first service at 7:00 pm. Meetings will continue through September 5th, with camp concluding after lunch. Pastors Angelo and Nancy Rosario, will be ministering here for the first time. I was privileged to meet them in March when I spoke at Jim Landry's Spiritual Warfare Conference in Beaumont, Texas. They pastor Church of God's Children, in Bronx, Co-op City, New York. We look forward to what they have to share in addition to our faithful team of ministers, Clement Humbard, Cheryl Batts, Dr. William Null, and Carla Butaud.

TOMMY COOK, who was always one of Erma's favorite preachers, has gone to be with the LORD. We bless his wife, Wanda, their children and grandchildren. Tommy ministered here for many years and we appreciated the Word of the LORD that flowed through him. He was a gifted preacher, prophet and teacher.

Kevin continues to convert messages to CD's as time permits. He is now able to record the sessions in tracks. In this issue we have quite a number of selections, including a wonderful series by Bob Mumford, entitled The Principles and Purpose of Temptation. I recorded these years ago in the early seventies in California and they have been among some of the 7" reels that we have had in storage "for such a time as this". This series of 7 CD's is comparable to a short course in Christianity. Bro. Bob teaches in a humorous manner that can easily be understood by all. You will benefit tremendously from this series.

The article I started in the last issue of Thoughts From My Notebook That I Ponder was intended to continue in this issue. However, it will have to be concluded in the September/October issue as I have not had time to finish it. We bless our readers and do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

Gratefully,

Glen Miller & Staff
