WILDERNESS COMPLEX (2 of 7) - God has given to us exceeding great and precious
promises, and yet we live like spiritual paupers. It's one thing to know the promises.
It's another thing to have them in our possession. God did not design us to live in the
wilderness; He designed us to live in the Promised Land, the land that flows with the good
things of God; to do thee good at thy latter end. God allows the devil to tempt
individuals to see if they will follow his wicked temptations or follow God's will

RELIGIOUS QUESTION (3 of 7) - "Ye, hath God said?" That is the
religious question. And it keeps up as long as you are double-minded. How we respond to
the religious questions can determine the length of time we spend in the problem.
Unfortunately, some people feel safer in the problem than in the promised land. The
problem reveals the condition of our heart; is designed to bring us into genuine
submission to God; and provides an occasion to learn of the abundant wealth of God's
resources. Sometimes God gives us a taste of the promised land while we are still in the
problem. The sad thing is most folks think that the "taste" is the fulfillment.
We must learn to recognize the religious question. ORDER
BMTCD-4 - Bob Mumford - HOW
TEMPTATION FUNCTIONS (4 of 7) - The way temptation actually functions is a
delicate balance between God, self and satan. In Genesis, God comes to the man and says I
want you not to eat of that tree. God first gives you the commandment, He gives you the
instruction, He gives you the prophecy, the Word. He communicates what He wants you to do.
Temptation then comes when God withdraws the consciousness of His presence. God never goes
away. But there are times when God feels closer than at other times. Satan appears on the
scene and begins to tempt what is in us. He asks the religious question. Temptation is
will you obey God's commandment or not. He uses what is in us to bring us down - lust,
lying, greed, etc. Jesus is our provision for obedience. ORDER
BMTCD-5 - Bob Mumford - HOW OR WHEN
MAN TEMPTS GOD (5 of 7) - You can be forgiven and not enter the land. Many people
know the forgiveness of God but never know the full provision of God. Numbers 14:22,
"Because all those men which have seen My glory and My miracles, which I did in Egypt
and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to
My voice." Everything God gives is given in a promise form. Promise, problem,
provision. Most people perish in the problem. In the wilderness (problem) is God, self and
satan. God instructs and then withdraws the consciousness of His presence. The accuser
comes on the scene along with self. The enemy uses your mind against you. Whenever God
speaks or deals with you, He is not playing games! He opens things to you because you will
need it. Get His promise straight! Tell Him you need Him to strengthen it before you get
into the problem. The enemy will use the slightest bit of doubt and work on that if you
don't have the promise straight. When we question what we heard from God, things go down
hill fast. Remember, once you get through the problem you are going to see the provision.
Some times He'll give you a taste of the provision while you are still in the problem. ORDER
BMTCD-6 - Bob Mumford - HOW TO ENTER
THE LAND (6 of 7) - Exodus 23:30 promises "By little and little I will drive
them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land." God will
not drive them out in one year. You are not going to come into all that God has for you in
one year. The method is little by little. As you meet each conflict one at a time and come
into the provision, God will increase your spiritual growth, but you cannot skip any
grades. You take what God has for you. TIME requires the diligence to walk in God, meeting
each conflict. Then we gain the victory which becomes ours and we step over into the
provision until victory becomes our habit pattern. It's time to offer God more than
excuses. ORDER
BMTCD-7 - Bob Mumford - CONDUCT IN
BATTLE (7 of 7) - The last message of this series deals with what it means to
enter into battle according to God's Word. The emphasis is on the promise and provision,
not the problem. James 1:13 says, "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of
God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man". God does not
tempt any man with evil; the devil does. James 1:2, Why count it joy? Because you have
spent your time in preparation like a soldier who has been trained for battle. When he is
called upon he says, "Great! This is what I have been trained for." You need to
hear the promise, spend your time in preparation, and when you fall into temptation you
step into it like a soldier prepared for battle. ORDER

Christian cannot have a demon. There has been a misunderstanding of salvation. Our spirits
can't be touched by demons after we are saved because we are sealed unto the day of
redemption. (Eph. 1:13-14, 4:30). However, our bodies and souls can still be afflicted by
demons even after being born again. He discusses five, so called infallible arguments
proving that Christians cannot have demons. There are many scriptures to refute these
arguments. With tongue in cheek, he gives the infallible arguments: 1. A Christian is the
temple of the Holy Spirit, and there is no way that the Holy Spirit can live side by side
with a demon. It is just the flesh! Also, why should Paul warn the believers in Corinth
about receiving another spirit if it were impossible to do so? (II Cor. 11:4). 2. Jesus
was manifested to destroy the works of the devil, and it is all done. 3) Romans 6 & 7
describe a struggle between flesh and spirit, not with the evil. However, demons roost in
the flesh. For ex-ample, Paul was buffeted by a messenger of satan in the flesh. (Well
maybe he wasn't saved). 4. According to Col. 1:13 and 2:1-3, Christians are delivered from
the power of satan. Of course, this is true, but it does not happen automatically.
Otherwise, why aren't Christians perfect? 5) A Christian has protection. (The armour
described in Eph. 6:1) But, this armour is designed only to deal with the enemies from the
outside. Why? Because the Scriptural way to deal with enemies on the inside is to cast
them out in Jesus name. ORDER

GROUND/Mass Deliverance - Quotes from the tape: "We need to realize that
though the demons can be defeated, that though satan is certainly limited -- his power is
not unlimited. We need to realize that he can be defeated, but we must take certain steps
ourselves, to protect ourselves. If we play the fool, it isn't God's fault that we fall
into a snare. I want to mention to you a few things tonight about what gives the demons
grounds to attack you. Because really, if you don't know why the demons are attacking you,
you may have open doors, and they will just continue to swarm on you and you won't know
why." Win proceeds to talk about the areas of unforgiveness and the occult. He then
breaks curses, leads prayers of renunciation and forgiveness, and then binds and casts out
numerous spirits. Curses open the door for demons. However, we can break curses (Gal.
3:13; Col. 2:13-15) in the authority and name of Jesus Christ. CURSES OF ILLEGITIMACY -
Deut. 23:2 - Note that this curse runs for ten generations. We call it "running"
in the family, or is familiar to a family. How do any of us know what has occurred among
our ancestors in the past four hundred years? Think about that for a few moments. I
believe that all of us are laboring under that curse. We must go back eleven generations
to get it broken. Beware of putting curses on your children. How often have we told
children such things as "Shame on you", or "You bad boy". That will
lodge in their mind, or telling them they are dumb, etc. The enemy uses things like that. ORDER
