A MOTHER'S BLESSING
Luke 8:21 - II John 1:1-6
My precious, precious, child, you truly are a gift from God.
If you have memories of times when I spoke unkindly to you or did or said things that
wounded, hurt, or injured you, please forgive me. I love you.
My darling daughter, over the years I have watched you grow and bloom into a beautiful
flower in the garden of our LORD Jesus. I am so very proud of you and so blessed to be
part of your life.
In Genesis 49:22-26, Jacob blessed Joseph and, in the Name of Jesus, I pray a paraphrase
of this same prophetic blessing for you:
Sweet daughter, you are a fruitful tree, a fruitful tree beside a fountain. Your branches
reach over the wall. You have been attacked by the enemy, who shot arrows at you and
harassed you, but you remain strong and your arms are strengthened by the Holy Spirit, God
Almighty, and Jesus Christ our LORD. May He bless you with the blessings of the heavens
above, blessings of the earth beneath, and blessings of the breasts and womb. May the
blessings of your descendants be greater than the blessings of the eternal mountains,
reaching to the utmost bounds of the everlasting hills. These blessings will fall on your
head, for you are the treasured bride of Christ.
You are the pearl of great price, for Jesus lives in you. You are greatly loved by me and
the rest of your family. It is an honor to be your mother (Galatians 4:26). (This
Mother's Blessing was given by the Holy Spirit to a precious saint that attends every
Campmeeting. She prefers to remain anonymous. We thank and bless her for sharing this with
the Body of Christ.)
