"REHEARSING THE RIGHTEOUS ACTS OF THE LORD"

We want to share one of many testimonies that have been reported since Campmeeting. There were two women here from opposite parts of the country attending Summer Camp. Both of them brought children for the Youth Camp. Neither of them had known each other previously. As they became acquainted with each other, they began to realize the significance of their meeting. In the late 1960's there was a particular tribe in Nigeria committing genocide against another tribe. The civil war and acts of atrocity were of such magnitude that it made the news in the United States. One of these ladies was so touched by the events that she began to pray for the tribe being attacked. It was really on her heart and she kept the situation before the LORD for some time. The other lady in this story happened to be six years old at the time this genocide was taking place. She was a part of the tribe under attack. As these two women conversed they realized what a miracle their meeting was. God brought them together at Lake Hamilton Bible Camp - the one to meet a prayer warrior assigned by God to her almost forty years ago - the other to witness God's faithfulness to answer prayer. The lady from Nigeria told us that it was nothing short of a miracle that her father was able to get his family to safety. Even though she was very young at the time, she remembers clearly what was going on. This should be an encouragement to all of us to be attentive to intercessory prayer and when God lays something on our heart to pray about, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY. We can rest assured HE will be glorified! This lovely woman from Nigeria shared with us that she has been forever transformed since her visit to Summer Camp. She is able to read the Word, fast and pray unlike any thing previously. She said nothing has made a difference in her Christian life like deliverance has made. To God be the Glory!
