DRAGON IN THE HOLY PLACE
By MORRIS E. GRAHAM

With our nation hungering for spiritual fulfillment, eastern religions, the occult, and the martial arts are overtaking our people as by a landslide.

Ten years ago when I first set foot in a dojo, that is to say, a Judo practice hall, Judo was the fastest growing sport in the Amateur Athletics Union (AAU).

With most of our major Christian denominations having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, our young people eagerly walk right into false religions, the occult, and the martial arts. Few people realize the ties that exist between the martial arts and eastern religions.

Buddhism started in North India in the sixth century, BC, as an offshoot of the Hindu Religion. Gautama founded Buddhism as a protest against the caste system of Hinduism.

Zen Buddhism is a Japanese Buddhist sect. Where Hinduism has many deities, and Buddhism has deified its teachers, Zen Buddhism rejects the worship of any and all deities, as well as religious authority ritual. Zen Buddhism asserts that enlightenment and spiritual liberation comes from meditation and intuition, rather than the Buddhist scriptures. The Zen Buddhist looks inside himself for truth and enlightenment, rejecting the Word of God.

Fallen man, as a sinner, cannot look within himself for truth, for man's mind is perverted by sin. (Jer. 17:9; John 6:41-45; Rom. 1:18-25; Rom. 3:10-23; 1 Cor. 2:14; 2 Cor. 4:4)

The Buddhist religion is the backbone of Japan's jujitsu, karate, and judo, as well as China's kung fu.

Hinduism, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Yoga all have three things in common. First is the practice of meditation, which is called transcendental meditation in Yoga, mystic meditation in Buddhism, meditation or "Zen" in Zen Buddhism, and Samhadi in Hinduism. All of these are one and the same. They are occult practice of "self-hypnosis." This is the same practice that is required to go on to perfection in judo, karate, kung fu, and most other martial arts.

Transcendental meditation is done in the lotus position, making the body pyramid-shaped. Then the mind of the meditator must be brought into a complete state of passivity, after which the meditator induces within himself a state of self-hypnosis. When the meditator meditates on a thought in this susceptible state of mind, he is actually placing a post-hypnotic suggestion into the mind. In all religions that include this occult meditation, the meditation is considered the necessary vehicle to attain revelation, and the fulfillment of the doctrines of these religions.

In 1972 I read on marijuana in a book entitled, "A Child's Garden of Grass". The author's source claimed that he could meditate much better while using marijuana. I also found this to be true. Self-hypnosis, self-induced trances, transcendental meditation, yoga, Zen, mystic meditation, or whatever you wish to call them, creates in the meditator's mind a perfect state of passivity. This opens the doors and drops the hedges, allowing every possible kind of unclean spirit and demonic power to enter.

The Bible is quite clear. There are only two sources of supernatural power. The first is through the Father, Jesus Christ and the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The second is by a multitude of occult outlets operating by witchcraft power through satan.

Even though many of the devil's doctrines are different, and contradict each other, it makes no difference, as long as satan has you. They all originate from the prince of lies, satan. God's Word is truth, and anything that deviates from this truth is a lie of satan.

Transcendental mediation is a must to develop witchcraft power and especially mind control. I know of a brown belt in karate, studying for his black belt, who did not possess a killer instinct needed to pass his examination. He induced a state of self-hypnosis in himself through TM and concentrated on Kali, the Hindu deity of destruction. He received many destructive and violent spirits that way. So much so, that he impressed his instructors enough that they promoted him to black belt, and he later became an instructor.

Another thing in common with yoga, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Hinduism, is the heresy of reincarnation. Those that believe this, assert that forty days after death their soul is reborn into man or animal, thus starting over the process of life. The animal belief of reincarnation is the basis of refraining from eating flesh. They believe that the meat they eat could be the flesh that housed the spirit that was once an ancestor of theirs. This doctrine (refraining form meat) was not so taught by Buddha, for Buddha himself ate meat, even until his eightieth birthday, when he died from eating contaminated pork in Nepal on a missionary venture.

The doctrine of Karma (which is the doctrine of sowing and reaping) is associated with the heresy of reincarnation. It is believed that everything that happens to a person happens because of his actions in a former life. And everything that will happen to a person in the next life is because of something they are doing now. Do not confuse this with the Christian doctrine of life after death. The doctrine of reincarnation teaches that the person who dies will come back to earth and be reborn into another fleshly body, thus starting the process all over again.

The third common factor that Yoga, Buddhism, Zen Buddhism, and Hinduism have is the doctrine of nirvana. Nirvana teaches that the human spirit will be perfected after many "rebirths" and that one should extinguish craving or passion, which Buddha attributed as the cause of pain and suffering.

Upon perfection, the spirit is absorbed into the absolute, which is defined as a universal life flow. This is not to be confused with a creator. An interesting note about the doctrine of nirvana is the desire for self-nonexistence, which is suicidal.

ROOTS OF MARTIAL ARTS

I want to give the spiritual background of the roots of the martial arts before discussing them.

In the early days of kung fu in China, only Buddhist priests were taught this art. Out of the feudal Buddhist culture of Japan, karate, judo, and jujitsu were originated. Judo was derived from jujitsu. Karate and jujitsu were originated for the Samurai class in Japan. The code of the Samurai was the Bushido Code, or the "Code of the Warrior." Everything about the Bushido code was constructed within Zen Buddhist guidelines. Samurai means, "to serve". For the most part, Samurai were soldiers.

The Bushido code was based on the Zen Buddhist principle of reincarnation. For a Samurai warrior to be able to kill, die, or commit suicide at the mere whim of his master, it was essential for him to believe in rebirth. I will continue with the Samurai teaching later in this report.

WE, AS A CHRISTIAN NATION, ARE NOT ALERT.

Kung fu, whose root is Buddhism, has been popularized throughout the country by the motion picture star, Bruce Lee. Has anyone noticed in the posters for which Bruce Lee posed that the dragon is often displayed behind him? What does this tell us? Simply that the dragon, satan, is behind the martial arts. Bruce Lee's Chinese name was Lee Shiu-Loong, which means "a little dragon". By the Chinese astrological counting, Bruce Lee was born in the "Year of the Dragon".

Let me list the titles of four of Bruce Lee's movies in their progression:

"Enter the Dragon"
"The Way of the Dragon"
"The Return of the Dragon"
"The Game of Death"

WHO IS THE DRAGON?

In the book of Revelation, Chapter 12:3,9,13,14,16,17; Chapter 13:2,4,11-18; Chapter 16:13 and Chapter 20:2, the dragon is clearly identified.

The dragon is the devil, that old serpent.

Can you see the progression of the stages of the dragon?

In the first movie, "Enter the Dragon", the dragon enters the person through the martial arts.

Through the teaching of the martial arts, the martial artist learns the "Way of the Dragon".

Then there is the "Return of the Dragon", which starts "The Game of Death".

By the way, Bruce Lee died during the production of the last movie, but the movie was finished anyway. Bruce Lee was known in the martial arts world as the "Little Dragon".

A few years ago, I read an article that quoted David Carradine, a star of the movie series Kung fu, as saying that he had received Bruce Lee's spirit. I believe he did. It was not his human spirit, but the demonic powers Bruce Lee had.

Because of the movies, books, magazines, etc., deliverance workers should be coming against dragon spirits, snake spirits, the spirits of each martial art the person has practiced, mind control, TM, and especially "the spirit of Bruce Lee". These should be dealt with in each person who comes for deliverance from the martial arts.

Revelation 12:9, clearly states that the dragon, the serpent, is the devil, satan.

The symbol used by many karate schools is the snake. In some cases it is the cobra. But the most common symbol is the dragon.

In the initiation to the priesthood of the Shaolin Buddhist Monastery in China, the candidate had to lift a huge, boiling hot, metal vessel with raised symbols on it that would, subsequently, be branded into the arm. One symbol is the dragon (Revelation 12:9), the other the tiger.

The force behind Buddhism, transcendental meditation, and the martial arts is satan. He is the tempter, the adversary, the thief, the murderer from the beginning, the accuser, the prince of lies, that old serpent. The devil has many faces, and teaches many shades of deception, but his purpose is the same as in Christ's day. His sole purpose is TO STEAL, AND TO KILL AND TO DESTROY! (John 10:10)

One of the colorful rites of the Zen Buddhist Bushido code of the Samurai is seppuku, or hara-kiri. (This is the act of ritual suicide by method of disembowelment). The reason Zen Buddhism allowed murder and suicide is because of the rejection of Buddha's scriptures. Each Samurai warrior carried two swords in his sash. The long sword for killing, and a short sword for committing seppuku, or hara-kiri.

Women were equally Samurai, and could carry swords, also. Almost all Samurai women, however, carried short swords to escape torture, defilement, or to keep from betraying husband, or liege lord. Women were always under the authority of men. To their liege first, the head of the clan second, and the father or husband third.

Men and women alike were expected to commit ritual suicide, if ordered by the feudal liege lord. Reasons for committing suicide could stem from disobedience, old age, failure, lack of faithfulness, injury, or losing in battle. Many times Samurai would petition their superior for permission to commit seppuku, if their dishonor was great enough.

Men committed seppuku, or hara-kiri, by running their short swords into their bowels below the navel, turning the handle after the plunge, 180 degrees, then cutting upward. After the man removed his knife, he then cut his throat.

Later, his appointed second removed the head with a single stroke of his sword. This kept the contortion of the excruciating pain from showing on his facial features, thus not dishonoring him. After the abdominal cuts were made, the bowels spilled out in his lap.

This is the reason for the name, "The ritual of disembowelment". The head was then washed, the hair neatly combed, and sent for inspection to the liege lord, or authority that ordered the suicide. Depending on the circumstances of death, the head is given to the family, put on public display, or spit on and thrown into a dung heap.

Women were not allowed this method. They were only allowed to cut their throat. Special robe, ceremony and honor were given to this ritual. Martial arts students who are already full of Buddhism spirits (demons), karate spirits, eastern religion spirits, reincarnation, meditation, hypnosis, arrogance, and false sense of honor, are wide open to the introduction of demons of suicide when they read literature about the Samurai.

The history of the Japanese martial arts of karate, jujitsu, and judo has its roots in the occult, murder, suicide, and cruelty beyond belief.

The most feared assassins that ever existed were the ninja assassins of Japan. They always existed and were based out of a Buddhist monastery. They were also a highly secret clan-oriented brotherhood, an occult secret society, trained from birth to fulfill one purpose. They were to kill the person or persons they were hired to murder. Once the murder was accomplished, legend has it that they returned, and in the secret ceremony in the brotherhood, committed hara-kiri with great pomp and ceremony.

The ninja was a paid assassin whose body and mind were trained a lifetime to fulfill its goal, to kill. He was trained in poison, all manner of hand weapons, unarmed combat, explosives, fire and circular five-bladed throwing knife (which resembles a star), tipped with poison. They were ancient masters of sabotage, kidnap and murder. One was never caught alive to question him or her, but it is known they practiced sorcery, mind occult, ritual suicide, martial arts, murder, sabotage, and were always connected with Buddhism. All the attributes of the ninja point to the devil, whose need is to destroy, under the cover of darkness.

We say, "There's nothing wrong with karate. My children practice it, and they go to church regularly." Eventually karate could crowd out the church, and Christianity will only be a past memory.

If we turn a deaf ear to the truth in the knowledge of the light of God, we let the devil operate under the ignorance of darkness. Then we let our children go to hell.

Parents, especially the fathers, who are the high priests of the family, are held accountable for every evil thing they knowingly allow their children to become involved with.

Do not be deceived by wolves in lamb's clothing.

My ex-instructor has ordination papers in a fundamental denomination, and has lectured at many churches and colleges, swaying many toward satan. He is not a pastor and does not fellowship with Christians. He does not believe that the Bible is the literal Word of God, and does not believe in the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. He practices transcendental meditation regularly. He is a psychologist in a mental hospital and a kung-fu instructor.

People, my heart's cry is, "Please don't be carried away with every philosophical argument that the Word of God isn't true. Don't be blown about with every wind of doctrine. Know those who minister among you."

"Be sober, be vigilant; your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour." (I Peter 5:8). The Greek word used here for vigilant is "to keep awake, be watchful."

God's mercies are new every morning. Amen? Let us repent of our sins that God may cleanse us of all unrighteousness (I John 1:9).

Let us call upon the name of the Lord for deliverance. "For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be delivered." (Joel 2:32).

If you need repentance, renunciation, and confession prayers, and seek deliverance from these areas, the following prayers and scriptures have proven helpful.

II Corinthians 4:2 (Amplified): "We have renounced disgraceful ways-secret thoughts, feelings, desires and underhandedness, methods and arts that men hide through shame; we refuse to deal craftily (to practice trickery and cunning) or to adulterate or handle dishonestly the Word of God; but we state the truth openly - clearly and candidly. And so we commend ourselves in the sight and presence of God to every man's conscience."

I John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
II Corinthians 7:1: "Having therefore these promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God."

Hebrews 9:14: "How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge Your conscience from dead works to serve the living God".

PRAYERS AND COMMANDS FOR DELIVERANCE

Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and His shed blood.

I confess I have sought to learn the arts through fear of sudden attack, and that I sought for revenge, and to hurt people, and to seek prestige among men. I ask You to forgive me for all these sins and cleanse me in the blood of Jesus.

I confess that I took oaths that were contrary to the commandments of the Word of God. I ask You to forgive me for taking, and break the curses resulting from, any oaths, pledges, vows, bondage, hexes, spells which I received through the learning of martial arts and fellowshipping with martial artist.

Satan, I now break every one of these oaths in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, I confess that I established wrong relationships (soul ties) with fellow students and instructors which were contrary to the Word of God. I confess that I have idolized instructors, champions, founders, fellow practitioners, and I ask You to forgive me of this idolatry. Jesus, cleanse me of all this sin with your precious blood. I am cleansed, sanctified, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

Satan, I bind all the demons of this idolatry in the name of Jesus. I further renounce all trophies and rank I received in any martial art. I vow to destroy any belt, insignia, practicing uniform, trophy, medal, certificate, achievement awards, membership card of any art or cultic organizations, book, poster, picture, swords, or any personal items pertaining to the martial arts.

Thank you, Jesus, and I ask You to forgive me for the sin of pride of achievement in the arts, arrogance, and self-esteem to which I yielded. I confess the sin of transcendental mediation, mind control, mind occult, mind sciences, ESP, yoga, chanting, power objects, levitation, astral projection, burning incense (Exodus 30:9), reincarnation, eastern religions, and other.

I claim back from satan, all of these areas that I have opened doors to and let the hedges down. Father, I count all that offends You as my enemy.

Father, I confess as sin and renounce judo, karate, Tae-Kwon-Do, Kung-fu, Pa-qua, Yawara, Savate, Jujitsu, Aikido, Kenpo, Ate-Waza, the Selebam, the Nunchuckas, and any organizations, clubs, groups, the Bushido code, eastern religions, poetry, writings, philosophies and movies that are contrary to God's Word, in the name of Jesus.

Satan, I bind all the demons of these arts in me, my wife, my family, and command them to leave in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

Father I renounce in Jesus' name all teachings, philosophies, and martial arts traditional beliefs that suicide is honorable. I renounce the ritual of seppuku, hara-kiri that I opened myself to by reading of martial arts, literature, novels, and teachings. Cleanse me, Jesus, of all these sins in your precious blood. I am sanctified, cleansed, and redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

I bind all spirits of suicide, and ritual suicide in the name of Jesus, and command them to leave me now in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Jesus. I bind all spirits of Bruce Lee, Dragon spirits, and snake spirits, and command you to go in Jesus name.

I would like to explain the lengthiness of this prayer. I have been prayed for many, many times for deliverance from the martial arts, but when I looked in several deliverance books, I could find no confession and renunciation prayers for the martial arts.

The Holy Spirit gave me this prayer, clearly and precisely, but when I tried to vocalize this prayer, demons began to manifest in my throat so that I could not speak. Twice more, in prayer, demons in my mind manifested so badly that I could not read the prayer. Both times I took authority over the devil in Jesus name and continued anyway.

The reason for the lengthiness is to deal with all those areas that the martial arts touch, and to leave no stone unturned.
