Dear Beloved
Friends:
Where has 2004 gone? As we ask ourselves that
question, we must also reflect on what has been
accomplished for His Glory. We have seen hundreds set
free from oppressions and bondages that have plagued
them for most of their lives. Many more have come to
know Jesus in a deeper way. Still others are
testifying of the miraculous healing that has taken
place in their lives. For all of this we truly Praise
the LORD. But, we are all approaching that day spoken
of in Matthew 7, "Not every one that saith
unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of
heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which
is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord,
Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy
name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I
never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity." LORD, help us all to truly obey
Your Word, surrender to Your will, that we will be
found faithful in that day.
Deliverance Ministers Conference:
"Kingdom building" - "Refresher
course" - "Spiritual Maturity" - These
were some of the comments heard concerning this
conference held October 26th-29th. Norman Parish,
Guatemala City, Guatemala, delivered a powerful
message to this group of ministers on the topic of
self-deliverance. There are times when we all need
the help of our fellow Christians, but God's people
must know Jesus as their deliverer and learn how to
pray for themselves. The clarion call for everyone is
that deliverance is not just an event - it is part of
our Christian walk. Pastors need this information for
instruction and to equip their congregations. Jim
Landry's message on the consequences of judging your
parents will make a difference in your life and your
ministry. Both Chris Simpson and Geri McGhee shared
Scriptures profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness, to
better equip the deliverance minister to help others.
Jean Fisher encouraged the folks to get deliverance
for themselves as it is an essential part of
discipleship and requires us to push past hurt,
failures and offences, forgive and walk through them.
Dr. Bill Null reported the six a.m. prayer meeting to
be one where he really felt the power of the other
intercessors helping to pray. Some stood and waited
for two hours to be ministered to and the LORD was
there to touch, heal, restore and deliver.
Thanksgiving Camp: Our condolences
to the Melvin Creason family. I spoke with Bro.
Creason on Tuesday evening before Thanksgiving Camp,
to confirm he would still be able to come and speak
for us. On Wednesday afternoon, Bill Smith, from Ft.
Worth, TX, called with the news that Bro. Creason had
gone to glory. It was a privilege to have known this
great man of God and we pray God's comfort for the
family during this time of adjustment for them. We
always prepare, as best we know how, for each
Campmeeting and then the LORD orchestrates them for
His purposes and Glory! He knew He was calling Bro.
Melvin home to Him, and laid it on the hearts of
Ronnie and Diane Bijeaux, a month or so before
Thanksgiving, to come and spend this holiday at Camp.
They had asked to come a few days ahead of time and
just get away with God, not knowing the LORD was
putting this trip on their hearts because we would
need them to help minister! What a mighty God we
serve. Rod and Linda Johnson arrived on Friday after
spending Thanksgiving Day in Texas with their
children. God has gifted Rod as a prophet and when
the anointing comes to prophesy, deep calleth unto
deep. Cheryl Batts, ministered to the ladies and at
the 3 pm deliverance service on Friday. The enemy had
tried to knock her out with an infirmity that caused
extreme dizziness, but God restored and raised her up
in the final hour! Dr. Bill Null delivered two
informative messages on the anti-christ and Biblical
discernment. We are always amazed how each
Campmeeting is so different. The Holy Spirit sets the
theme, brings the people that are supposed to be
here, and ties it all together with the Word of God.
We give special thanks to all those who worked behind
the scenes to help make this one of the best
campmeetings ever!
Mid-Winter Camp - December
25th - December 31st Watchnight service -
Plan to spend the last days of 2004, worshiping and
praising the LORD with us. God's anointed men and
women will be here to teach and minister. Scheduled
for this series of meetings are Howard Pittman, Chris
Simpson, Ronnie & Diane Bijeaux, Dr. Bill Null,
Cheryl Batts, Tom and Dianne Stone and Clement
Humbard. Reservations are already being made. If you
plan to fly, please let us know well in advance so
arrangements can be made to pick you up at the Little
Rock airport.
Computers: Thanks to all who have
donated monitors and printers towards our recycle
project. Two complete systems have come in (a Pentium
90 and a Pentium 120) and have been set up as Bible
Study workstations. We still need CPU's to partner
with the six monitors that have been donated. We
could really use Pentium III's or IV's. Consider an
end of the year tax donation on a new system. Someone
sent a check to help enable us to get the equipment
needed to re-work the old tapes. Another person has
offered to help with that project and will be doing a
test run on a few of the original reels. We are
looking forward to a favorable outcome.
Testimony: We received a call from a
lady wanting to order Strongman's His Name, What's
His Game. She said her church had used the book over
twenty years ago and she wanted to know if it was
still available. She is now in a different city and a
new church and felt the pastor needed this book. I
asked her how she got our number to call. She said
she called the church she used to attend twenty years
ago because she had donated a copy of the book to the
church library. She remembered there was a sticker in
the book where she had ordered it from. They found
the book and read her our phone number, so she called
and was thrilled we were still here. We told her that
is why we put our stickers in the books. Publishers
go out of business, authors change their addresses,
but, by the grace of God, Lake Hamilton Bible Camp is
here to stay! It is a privilege to make available to
God's people, these wonderful books and tapes to help
them in their Christian walk.
Blessings to you,
Glen Miller and Staff
