Dear Friends:

It is the season of bountiful harvest - both spiritually and physically. We see God's amazing favor and grace being poured out in such abundance, and we are so grateful for the many hearts and lives that are being changed into His image and likeness through this ministry. "Not by might, nor by power, but My Spirit, saith the Lord of hosts." Zech. 4:6

Summer Family Camp Report - Believers came from every direction, some for the entire week and others for just a few days - but all were treated to a banqueting table of teaching, ministry and wonderful fellowship. Throughout the week, the Holy Spirit seemed to set the theme of removing the veils of deception that hinder the body of Christ from entering into His fullness. We encourage you to get the entire set of tapes because neither this report, nor the synopsis of each tape can adequately present the quality of these messages. Dick and Pat Brooks graciously gave of their time, talents, and publications to minister life concerning our Christian heritage. The messages delivered by Cheryl Batts, Ronnie Bijeaux, Carla Butaud, Carl Fox, Jim Landry, Dr. William Null and Chris Simpson served to stir God's people to come clean between each other and before God, to hear the voice of the Lord and then listen to what He has to say, and to surrender to the complete work of deliverance He is doing - without reservation. The children and youth experienced the love of Jesus, with Diane Bijeaux and her faithful helpers ministering to and teaching them how to apply the Scripture in their daily lives. The gardens are producing tantalizing vegetables (nurtured and tended by Kevin King), and chef Ron Turnwall turned the fresh produce into a beautiful layout that disappeared at every meal!

Labor Day Campmeeting - September 2nd - 6th - Come expecting healing, deliverance, salvation, and for the plans and purposes of God to be fulfilled in your life as the Holy Spirit ministers through anointed men and women of God. Services will begin at 7:00 pm on Thursday and will conclude Monday morning after the 10:00 am meeting. See complete schedule on the last page of this newsletter. Monty Mulkey will be teaching and ministering deliverance. In 1989, he founded the West Coast Church of Deliverance in Thousand Oaks, California. Pastor Mulkey, a native of Montana, was ordained after years of study, by the late Win Worley. Bro. Worley published Pastor Mulkey's articles researched on Alcoholic patterns, Arrested development, Shame, Slothfulness, Abuse, Mental Illness, in his Hosts of Hell series. We will also be blessed during this series of meetings by the ministries of Cheryl Batts, Hot Springs, AR, Dale Copeland, Wister, OK, Dr. William Null, Hot Springs, AR and Dianne Stone, Perryville, AR. Each of them will be bringing fresh manna from the Throne of God. We hope to see you during this series of meetings.

Farewell to Christel Beckley who has faithfully served here at LHBC for the last five years. The Lord is closing this chapter of her life and moving her back to her home state of Indiana to continue His purpose and plans for her. She came to us right out of college and has been a valuable member of the staff from the beginning. God had a special need and sent her initially to fill that position, but when that need no longer existed, she was ready to step into the next slot that needed attention. Everyone of us needs to be willing to do whatever the Lord requires, for His Glory shall be revealed in and through our obedience. We will miss her lovely voice and smile, and look forward to having her back for a campmeeting once in awhile. We bless her as she goes and declare she will be a blessing wherever the Lord places her.

Thanks to all of you who faithfully support this ministry on a monthly basis. We appreciate your prayers and financial provisions. We hope to see you at an upcoming campmeeting.
