Dear Friends and Family:

We sometimes ask ourselves, "Why do we have campmeetings?" There is an incredible amount of work involved with the preparation, hosting and securing of ministers - not to mention the catch up work after camp is over. Most of the staff doesn't have the privilege of sitting in on all of the services because of the labor involved in the camp's operation during services. But campmeetings are not about us! They are about you, your family and your friends. They are about Jesus. He wants to minister His love, grace, healing and delivering power to those who come for help. Perhaps it is for the loved one you have been praying and interceding for over many years. The majority of people who come for campmeeting are here because the help they need cannot be found in their local church. It's not because we have something they don't. It's simply because the Word states in Matt. 10:7-8, that deliverance is a part of the ministry of Jesus for today. The Lord commissioned His disciples and gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. (Matt. 10:1) We invite you to come and allow the Spirit of the Lord to reveal the love of God to you as you have never yet experienced. It will be our privilege to serve you.

Memorial Camp - God brought His peop le together to share a multitude of blessings during these precious and anointed series of meetings. His Word came alive by the Holy Spirit through all the speakers. We encourage you to get the entire set described in detail later in this newsletter. We are so grateful for the sound doctrine and strong meat the ministry brought forth. The 6:00 am prayer meeting continued almost until the 10:00 am meeting a couple of mornings because so many folks were receiving such significant help. We bless Dr. William Null and his helpers for their devotion to prayer and ministry, getting up every morning at 6:00 am. They all have other responsibilities later in the day so there is no chance for naps! Bill Smith from Ft. Worth, TX, challenged us to be without mixture and allow the old nature to die so the Kingdom of God can come forth. Jim Landry from Beaumont, TX, presented a classic message on Deliverance Basics. Jim's pastor, Harlan Deem, blessed the congregation with pearls of wisdom and sound advice on discipleship. Rod and Linda Johnson graciously drove from Wisconsin to be with us and minister on both the anointing within and without. Cheryl Batts from Hot Springs shared on the topic of abuse - it's symptoms and results. Many who had been living in the bondage levied from abusive relationships were set free in Jesus name. Tom Stone from Perryville, AR, encouraged the saints to allow the Lord to take us through the conversion process so we can become the vessel fit for the Master's service. Dr. William Null taught on the pitfalls of astrology and ESP and shed light on the relationship of familiar spirits to divination.

Summer Family Camp - Camp dates are July 3rd - July 9th. We will serve supper at 5:00 pm on the 3rd and the first service will be at 7:00 pm. The final service will be 10:00 am on the 9th and will conclude after lunch on that day. There will be services separate from the adult meetings, for the children and youth to be taught and receive ministry. Diane Bijeaux of Breaux Bridge, LA, and her faithful crew who have been such a spiritual blessing to the young people of past camps will be in charge of these services. We are believing the Lord to bring change in the hearts and lives of the young people, bringing them to a new understanding of His plans and purposes for their lives. There will also be some fun time set aside for activities and fellowship. This is always an opportunity for the youth to make great memories, meet new friends and renew old acquaintances.

Scheduled to speak during this series of meetings are Cheryl Batts, Pat Brooks, Carla Butaud, Carl Fox, Jim Landry, Dr. William Null, Chris Simpson and Dianne Stone. We have known Dick and Pat Brooks from Fairview, NC, for many years, but this will be her first time to minister at LHBC. We are looking forward to her sharing truths concerning the Kingdom of God and deliverance. Carl Fox, from Truth or Consequences, NM, always brings fresh manna from the Throne of Grace. Cheryl Batts, Carla Butaud and Dianne Stone will be ministering in the 1:15 ladies deliverance service as well as some of the main services. Jim Landry, Dr. William Null, and Chris Simpson, all members of LHBC Board of Trustees, will be sharing the Word and ministering to the needs of those in attendance.

Bring your entire family and come expecting to be healed, delivered, restored and transformed by the Power of God. We embrace the presence of the Lord and are grateful that He sets the captives free!
