March/April 2004
Dear Saints:
I rejoice that God
continues to mightily manifest His precious presence,
as the saints gather together to lift up the name of
Jesus. He has faithfully and abundantly provided the
ministry needs here for over thirty years, and
sometimes, I feel He is just getting started with
what His plans are through His ministry here.
I remind the Lord
that I didn't think this place up
it is His
work to do for His good pleasure, and I marvel at His
Majesty and Glory, with such gratitude for all who
faithfully support this deliverance ministry,
financially enabling us to continue this work that
we've been called to.
Ladies
Conference - What a glorious time the ladies
shared in the wonderful presence of the Lord that was
here for the conference in February. The Holy Spirit
set the theme of Prayer, Praise and the Presence of
the Lord and prepared the hearts of Mary Ann Flynn,
from Orange, CA, Alberta Landry, from Beaumont, TX
and Cheryl Batts, from Hot Springs, AR, to
orchestrate that theme. God graciously touched each
heart in a special way and gave us all a
"spiritual makeover"! We thank everyone who
came and participated. We were especially blessed by
the church in Bernie, MO, that dispatched a whole
flock of their lovely handmaidens, escorted by the
Pastor's wife. Everyone went home with renewed faith
in the weapons of their warfare. Be sure and order
the tapes for your spiritual growth
and to share with your prayer partners, pastors and
friends.
Passover
Campmeeting - Ben Buchanan and his wife
Polly, from Rockport, TX were here to teach and
minister the Word of the Lord. Bro. Buchanan, who
retired as an Assembly of God pastor a few years ago,
has found himself once again in the office of a
pastor - now shepherding a flock of Charismatic
Baptists. His insight into the Scriptures gave us new
revelation on the mission of Jesus. Dale Copeland and
his wife, Junie, from Wooster, OK graciously gave of
their time and ministry. They anticipated being
called back to Oklahoma, as their daughter was
expecting to give birth at any time. We were so
grateful for their sacrifice, as God is truly using
Bro. Copeland to stir the saints to know and
understand the voice of God and to recognize who they
are in Christ. Dr. William Null, retired pediatrician
(now residing at the campground), faithfully
conducted the 6 a.m. prayer meetings, and brought
deliverance teachings that better equipped the saints
in spiritual warfare and keeping their deliverance.
Cheryl Batts, a business woman from Hot Springs,
blessed in one of the ladies deliverance services and
shared nuggets of Scripture concerning wisdom and its
attributes in a 3:00 afternoon deliverance service.
New to minister at LHBC was Carla Butaud from Jasper,
TX. Though her husband, Mike, was unable to join her
this time, we look forward to him being with her in
the future. Her zest and zeal to "just do"
what the Bible says encouraged everyone's hearts to
believe God for what He has already done! Those
struggling with children who have drifted away from
God will most assuredly want to hear her message on
the power of God to protect your family. See all the
tapes from Memorial Camp listed in this magazine.
Order the tapes and expect to be changed.
You might be unable to physically attend campmeeting,
but you certainly can still benefit, by hearing the
messages on cassette. God's anointing extends beyond
this sanctuary building!
We are singing new
songs here at the campground, fresh from the throne
of God! The Lord has graciously sent us Jane Hunt
from Perryville, AR, to play the grand piano, and He
is giving her songs by the Spirit to bless the body
of the Lord. Those who attended the Ladies Conference
and Passover were edified by "Holy Ghost Come on
Down", "I'm Not A Failure", and
"Stand Up and Face the Enemy!", just to
name a few. Along with Jane, Christel Beckley, Ron
Turnwall and Tom Stone help in the ministry of praise
and worship. We are grateful for all the talent God
has placed here in our midst.
Memorial
Campmeeting - We invite you to come and be a
part of our Memorial Camp which begins with dinner at
5:00 on Thursday, May 27th and concludes after lunch
on Monday, May 31st. Rod and Linda Johnson from
Wisconsin will be here to share what the Lord has
laid on their hearts. Rod moves in the prophetic
ministry in addition to being gifted to present the
Scriptures in such a practical application to every
day life. Jim Landry and Harlan Deem, from Beaumont,
TX will be teaching and ministering deliverance.
Brother Landry has written a new booklet, "The
Kwanzaa Deception - The Truth of Kwanzaa Exposed by
God's Holy Word". This is a celebration that is
infiltrating the schools and everyone needs to be
aware of its roots. It is available from LHBC for a
donation of $3.00 plus postage. Cheryl Batts and Dr.
William Null, both from Hot Springs, will both be
here to minister deliverance and teach the saints how
to stay free!
