Fern Outlaw,
whom many have come to know and love over the years,
has moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, to live with her
daughter and son-in-law. Fern has been a part of the
Lake Hamilton Bible Camp family since 1975, shortly
after moving to Hot Springs with her husband and
family. Prior to the move, God had spoken to her and
said that He was building her a "holding on
place". That place was LHBC and in 1975
"building" was just getting started. Not
only has Fern held on to us, but many of us have had
the opportunity to hold on to her, and the Jesus in
her. But we are all having to let go, and let God
move. Fern has ministered to many of you, on a
one-to-one basis, and her heart continues to desire
for God's people to be set free from the bondages
that hinder them from moving on in the Lord. Over the
years, Fern has demonstrated a faithfulness to the
Lord and to her family, that has been a testimony to
all who know her. The fruit of that faithfulness is
now coming to harvest and she is witnessing the
Kingdom of God coming forth in the lives of her loved
ones. We pray God's richest blessings be her portion
in her new home. She plans to be able to come back
for some of the campmeetings.
Dr. William
Null, has retired from his pediatric
practice in Salina, KS, and has relocated to Lake
Hamilton Bible Camp. We welcome him to Arkansas. Bill
first started coming to campmeetings in 1981. In the
mid-eighties, with Glen's permission, he launched the
6:00 am prayer meeting. Many of you have experienced
transformed lives as a result of how Jesus met you in
that early morning service. In 1990, Bill began to
teach and minister deliverance here at some of the
campmeetings. Additionally, he ministers to the men
during the 1:15 men's deliverance services that are
held during our conferences. Many do not realize the
labor of love that has been demonstrated through this
faithful servant over the years. He has driven 1,100
miles roundtrip, every campmeeting for many years.
The only times he has missed is when there was no one
to take his place on call at the hospital, and those
were rare times. Now that Doc lives here, he won't
have to "hit the road" anymore after the
last service. In addition to helping with the
ministry, he is writing a book which he plans to have
published soon.
Bob &
Juanita Banker, who have been a part of the
ministry here for a little over two years, are moving
back to Florida to be with their family. Juanita has
been one of our musicians, faithful to play the organ
whenever she was needed. Additionally, she has been
filling your tape and book orders for some time now.
Bob also helped with filling orders when he could.
Bob oversaw the rebuilding of the campground pick-up
truck and has been a tremendous source of spiritual
encouragement to many. We are grateful for the time
the Lord shared them with us and bless them in their
new location.
Amy DuFresne,
my grandson Daniel's wife, and mother of Isaiah, who
has been a tremendous help in the office to Christel
and Patti, has had to relinquish her duties here to
help Daniel full-time in their glass blowing business
in downtown Hot Springs. We are grateful the Lord is
blessing their business so abundantly, but do miss
her sweet spirit and the joy of having my three-year
old great-grandson, Isaiah, here to run and give me
hugs. Amy, did most of the compiling of our magazine,
Voices From His Excellent Glory, so bear with us we
make the transition.
