Campground
Special Needs
By
Glen Miller
I want to thank you
who have been so faithful over the years in
supporting this deliverance campground. Never have
you found this publication promising great returns
financially in your personal life from your support,
for God, not man, is the rewarder of our
faithfulness. Fom time to time the campground has
special needs. We have been planning for the last
three or four years to build another motel type
building that will have sixteen rooms. Several have
already contributed to this project and that money is
in a savings account for this much needed facility
which will be approximately $250,000.
Four years ago, we
ago we had to replace all of the electrical wiring
for what we call the top level of the RV parking
area. We have an RV parking area by the lake that we
call the lower level. When the electrical wire was
laid in the ground in the middle seventies, we could
only buy aluminum wire. When moisture gets into
aluminum wiring, it corrodes and eats itself in two.
Over the years we have dug up and spliced the wires
many times, and the loss of electrical current into
the ground is a considerable loss and cost. We have
already installed new contact panels for the
underground lines at a cost of $2,600. This summer we
must replace these lines and we need you financial
help. This will cost somewhere in excess of $7500 for
material, and we will do the work. The lines lay in
the ground down the middle of a rock road in the
camping area, which we have wanted to black top for
several years, but could not until we installed the
upgraded electrical line in the ground. I have a firm
bid on the black top of $6,000 and the asphalt
company will furnish the base that goes on the ground
before the asphalt, at no cost as a donation to Lake
Hamilton Bible Camp.
Why have I gone into
this detailed explanation instead of saying we need
so many dollars? So that you will know what your
money is used for when it is given for these
projects, or when you give for the monthly operating
expenses of Lake Hamilton Bible Camp. All donations
are tax deductible.
We greatly
appreciate all who support this deliverance garrison
of the LORD's - some weekly, some monthly, and others
as they can. Your support is what supplies the
finances to keep the doors open for the deliverance
camp meetings that are held here on each major
holiday, the Ministers' conference in October, and
the wonderful Ladies' meeting in February.
We believe that you
will be able to attend a deliverance camp meeting in
the near future. Until then, we impart God's blessing
to you.
