We have been studying, "Are You What
You Eat?" Based on Leviticus chapter eleven and Deuteronomy chapter fourteen, we have
shown that Peter's vision had nothing to do with the traditional teaching of Peter's
vision. Paul would never under any circumstances approve the eating of anything GOD said
is unclean. We will continue our study of "Are You What You Eat?", from the
secular and medical world, and with testimonies.
Erma and I were raised during the depression
years and pork was staple table meat. Also, our Pentecostal heritage taught that Peter's
vision did away with the Levitical food laws. The smell of bacon or ham frying made Erma
sick. Her folks would make her eat it for strength they said, but it would make her sick
to her stomach, even to this day.
For many years, Erma and I owned a business
called Technical Publications Services, which was a top-secret facility that had contracts
with all the major aerospace companies, and the publishing contract on the check out,
countdown and manuals for the Apollo Moon program. When I had a major heart attack and was
in the hospital, brother Demos Shakarian held prayer for me at the Saturday morning
breakfast at Cliffton's Cafeteria in downtown Los Angeles. The LORD healed me, without
further incident to this day, and we sold our company the same weekend. We then traveled
several years for the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship. Demos Shakarian appointed me
to record all the meetings, and Erma to run the book table at all the conventions in
hotels across America. As we traveled to the F.G.B.M.C. around the nation, we became
acquainted with many wonderful ministers and teachers of the fifties, sixties, and
seventies. This included meeting deliverance ministers such as Bro. Wilburn Duncan, Joe
Williams, and Derek and Lydia Prince. Once we were at the F.G.B.M.C. in Portland, Oregon.
I had put all of the recording equipment away and Erma had closed the book table, or
"put the book table to bed" as she would say. It was around midnight that night
and there was a deliverance minister there that night, Bro. Wilburn Duncan. Erma asked him
if he would pray for her. He prayed for both of us, but in praying for Erma he said,
"I bind the serpentines and command them to come out." We got to bed about 2:00
a.m. the next morning, when Erma said to me, "What is a serpentine?" and before
I could say, "I don't know", a fountain of vile, green fluid erupted out of her
mouth, from the bed to the bathroom. The odor was like that of an old boar (male) hog or
Billy goat.
We went back home to Northridge, California
in the San Fernando Valley. I had some problem with our Lincoln car and asked Erma if she
wanted to ride into Hollywood to the Lincoln garage with me. She joined me, but the
Hollywood dealership did not have the part that was needed, so they called around for me
and found that the Lincoln garage in Santa Monica had the part. So to Santa Monica we
went. Now, ever since Brother Duncan had prayed for Erma, and she had the violent
deliverance that morning, she was continually fussing about what a serpentine was. When I
pulled into the Lincoln garage in Santa Monica, Erma said, "Oh, there is the Santa
Monica Library across the street. I'm going over there while you get the car worked on and
see if I can find out what a serpentine is." Well, after the car was repaired, I went
across the street to the library to get Erma, and she had found out what it was. The
librarian had helped her look it up, and in the books she brought Erma it said,
"Serpentine, any thing seen or unseen that wiggles." That really did not mean
much to us right then.
A couple of Sundays after this, we decided
to attend a special afternoon service at "The Country Church in the Vail". It
was two blocks from Vine Street, and a couple blocks off of Hollywood Blvd. As we left the
church, in the foyer was a book table. Well, Erma had to look the books over. I went on to
the car, and pretty soon she came out and insisted I give her two dollars for a book she
wanted. That book changed our understanding, and the error of the Pentecostal tradition.
It was a small, fifty-page book entitled, GOD'S Divine Diet. A little later, a booklet
published by the Library of Congress, written by the Center for Disease Control in
Atlanta, Georgia was given to me. This booklet is about trichinosis, a parasite that is
found only in pork, with several illustrations of the parasite in human bodies. I have
tried to get additional copies of this booklet and was told it was no longer available.
In the August 1982 issue of the Saturday
Evening Post, an extensive article on trichinosis and its effects on the human body were
published. In an issue of the "American Medical Journal", there was an article
about trichinosis. Trichinosis is a parasite, "serpentine", too small to be seen
by the human eye that multiplies by the millions. It is believed that as much as seventy
percent of the cases of arthritis actually are the parasite trichinosis in the joints, for
which there is no known medical cure.
GOD created a hog to be a scavenger - it is
a built-in garbage disposal. GOD provided outlets at the hoof joint, where the foot is
attached to the knuckle joint, for the pus - poison - to drain out of the hog's body. Some
people buy these pus drains to eat, as pickled pig's feet. Tests have been made on pork
roast - they have been cooked to 750 degrees and the trichinosis parasites were still
alive.
| Doctors diagnose their patients as having arthritis in their joints, but in many
cases, it is really trichinosis, for which there is no known cure. Headaches can also be
caused by trichinosis. |

Trichinosis is acquired by
eating improperly cooked pork, which contains small, immature trichinae worms that have
lodged in the muscle (or meat) of the animal. These small worms mature in the human
intestinal tract and reproduce, forming new, immature worms that migrate throughout the
human body, lodging in active muscles and vital organs such as the brain, heart, muscles,
joints, and eyes. |
Hogs, buzzards, hawks, crows and other animals are GOD'S garbage collectors. You
can put a herd of hogs in a timber or field that is infested with poisonous snakes, and in
a few weeks they will have eaten all the snakes, and the poison will not affect them.
Oysters, clams, shrimp, crabs, crawfish, lobsters, and
all fish that do not have both fins and scales are GOD'S vacuum cleaners to keep our sea
shores, lakes, and rivers clean. Many people have died from salmonella after eating
oysters or clams.
We were having a meeting in Redondo Beach at a home next
door to President Nixon's house, and a lady began to manifest during praise and worship.
Erma, I, and another person took her to the restroom to pray for her, where she took on
the characteristics of a hog - her face contorted and her nose resembled the snout of a
hog, and she made sounds like a pig snorting. I do not know what right this demon had to
her unless it was bestiality in the family heritage. She was delivered and set free.
As we conclude this study, "Are You What You
Eat?", there is one more statute that we must consider because GOD says it is
PERPETUAL (Webster's Dictionary defines perpetual as "lasting or enduring forever,
eternal", in other words, without end.) So let us read what GOD says is without end.
Leviticus chapter three and verse seventeen: "It shall be a PERPETUAL STATUTE for
your generations throughout all your dwellings, that you eat neither FAT nor BLOOD."
Again in Acts chapter fifteen and verse twenty-nine, James says, "That ye abstain
from meats offered to idols, and from BLOOD, and from things strangled."
At a Thursday evening bible study here at L.H.B.C., we
were studying the BLOOD. There is a Pentecostal and Baptist tradition that is
unscriptural, I have heard it from my mother all of her ninety-six years, and that is the
statement, "I plead the blood". When you confront a demon and it asks you for
scripture and verse, you cannot answer because there is none. There are five scriptural
bases that I have found, and they are these: sprinkle the BLOOD, cover with the BLOOD,
appropriate the BLOOD, apply the BLOOD, and washed in the BLOOD of the LAMB.
That night, the LORD woke up one of the women that was at
the bible study and impressed her to get up and search for scriptures about not eating
blood; I believe she found twenty-six scriptures on the subject. While looking for the
scriptures she thought, LORD, why am I doing this? She was reminded that she had just
gotten a physical check up the day before, and the doctor had told her she was a
borderline diabetic. Now, many people are diabetic, but this woman's great-grandmother,
grandmother, and mother had all died from diabetes, and her two sisters also had the
disease, one already had lost a foot from diabetes. Well, her great grandmother made blood
pudding, blood sausage, and blood soup, as well as her grandmother, and her mother ate it,
even though her mother never prepared it herself. The LORD impressed upon her that she was
under a curse, and to have me pray for her and break the curse. Sunday morning, just
before I taught after praise and worship, I asked if anyone had any prayer requests. This
woman raised her hand and said she wanted to say something, I told her, say on. She told
us what you have just read, and added that the LORD had impressed her to have me pray for
her and break the curse of eating blood, and that HE would heal her. Now I had a problem,
because my tradition has taught me that no Christian can have a curse.
When Derek and Lydia Prince were staying with us during a
ten-day deliverance meeting in the San Fernando Valley, he said, "Erma, I want to
pray for you before I leave". We took a kitchen chair and we went into a bedroom and
Brother Prince and Lydia began to pray. He said, "Erma, you are under the power of
the occult". Erma stated she had never been to a fortuneteller, and he told her it
was coming from her mother. As he began to pray, a spirit spoke out of Erma and said,
"I am not coming out", and began to throw Erma around the room. When Brother
Prince asked who the demon was, it answered, "I won't let her remember the Word of
God". Erma was a straight 'A+' student. She could meet you somewhere and years later
meet you again and not only remember your name, but even tell you what you were wearing
the day she first met you. But when she would read the Bible, she would go to sleep, or
not remember what she had read. Brother Prince said, "Those are occult powers coming
from your mother and grandmother". Then Sister Prince went into high gear, speaking
in tongues and commanding that python of divination and spirit of forgetfulness and the
deaf and dumb spirits to come out, and out they came, never to return. Later that year we
were at a family reunion in Newark, Missouri with Erma's folks, aunts, uncles, brothers
and family, and some of our children. When Erma asked the question in the middle of the
meal, "Has anyone here ever been to a fortune teller?" Erma's mother answered
that she had been to one when she was seventeen, and reminded Erma that her grandmother
read palms and tealeaves. Erma hadn't remembered that, and told them how Derek Prince said
she was under the power of a fortuneteller and that it was coming through her mother and
grandmother. Immediately Erma's mother who had been a Pentecostal preacher's wife for over
thirty years screeched at the top of her lungs, "You tell that old Derek Prince he
doesn't know what he is talking about!' There were about twenty-five family members around
the big farm kitchen table and Erma's father jumped up and said, "Now just a minute,
you know there may be some credence to this, so let's all settle down and eat our
meal." Both of them had been in several of Brother Prince's deliverance meetings, but
she died clinging to her Pentecostal tradition that a Christian could not have a demon.
Why have I inserted this experience into a study of, "Are you what you eat?" I
had been asked to break the curse of eating blood, and I did not believe a Christian could
have a curse. After the LORD JESUS delivered Erma from the occult through Lydia and Derek
Prince's prayers, I said to him that Erma must have been under a curse from her mother and
grandmother, and he answered emphatically that JESUS became our curse and Christians
cannot be cursed and I accepted his traditional statement until the LORD confronted me
with the truth. Brother Derek Prince since then has come into the understanding of curses,
and has written that wonderful book that is setting many free from the traditions of the
elders, Blessing or Curse, available in our book section.
How wrong I was! For up to this day, even though I had
been ministering deliverance successfully for several years, I had also been taught by the
traditions of my Pentecostal heritage that no Christian could have a demon, or cross the
blood-line, which is false teaching. I told her, "If the LORD told you to have me
pray for you and break the curse of eating blood, I will do it." And I asked if
anyone else would like to be prayed for. There were nine altogether that came forward for
prayer. I prayed for them and broke the curse in JESUS name. The lady has since gone to be
with the LORD, but not from being diabetic! I have prayed for men that have worked in
slaughter houses and when the beef, sheep or hogs throats were cut, they would catch a cup
of hot blood and drink it, full of whatever live diseases that the animal had. I have
prayed for people that eat raw meat, and I have found that most people that eat rare meat
have an uncontrollable lust problem (demon).
Well, then I had a problem; I had done something that
from my traditional teaching I didn't believe in, so I had to find chapter and verse, IT
IS WRITTEN. It lead me to Exodus, chapter twenty and verse five which says, "I the
LORD thy GOD am a jealous GOD, visiting the iniquities of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of those who do not obey MY WORD", and again in
Deuteronomy chapter twenty-three and verse two and three, "A bastard shall not enter
into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into
the congregation of the LORD. An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation
of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of
the LORD for ever:" And in Deuteronomy chapter twenty-one and verse twenty-three it
says, "His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise
bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not
defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance." Which leads to
Galatians chapter three and verse thirteen, "Christ hath redeemed us from the curse
of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth
on a tree:".
This says that JESUS became our curse. Then the LORD
impressed me to read John three, verse sixteen - let us examine the verse. It says,
"For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON." This is a
wonderful statement. Is all the world saved? No. Why not? Because we have to finish the
verse: "HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in (or on) HIM should
not perish, but have everlasting life." Do you see? You have to appropriate - apply -
and believe, that the blood of the LORD JESUS shed at Calvary washes and cleanses you from
ALL SIN. The same is true with the fact that JESUS became our curse (yours and mine), but
only if you appropriate or apply it for you or someone else's behalf as you pray for them
in JESUS' name, and that HE became our curse that you have authority to break ancestral
curses that you are under because of your sins, or the sins that you have inherited from
your ancestor. You say you don't believe that? Well, since that encounter that Sunday
morning with the inherited curse of diabetes (now eating blood is not the only cause of
diabetes, but I know that it is one cause) I have prayed for hundreds of people and seen
them set free from many curses, especially in the area of sexual sins, a ten-generation
curse.
In Deuteronomy chapter twenty-seven and verse ten it
says, "Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy GOD, and do HIS
commandments and HIS statutes, which I command thee this day." GOD does not ask us if
we want to obey. HE says that we are to obey HIS voice and DO HIS COMMANDMENTS. Our
rebellion against GOD'S WORD has allowed satan a legal right to our bodies, the
consequences are sickness and disease, because you and your ancestors have not obeyed IT
IS WRITTEN. Yet when the children of Israel came out of Egypt, Psalms one hundred five,
verse thirty seven says, "He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there
was not one feeble person among their tribes." and then GOD tells them and us what
will happen when we disobey HIS WORD - IT IS WRITTEN. In Deuteronomy chapter twenty-eight,
verses fifty-eight through sixty-two, "If thou wilt not observe to do all the words
of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear (reverence, honor) this
glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; Then the LORD will make thy plagues
wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and
sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover HE will bring upon thee all the
diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. Also every
sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the
LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas
ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of
the LORD thy God."
We have seen from the medical world that eating the
unclean or scavengers brings sickness. Now, GOD has told us this over 3,000 years ago, but
we are so smart, masters of our own destiny that we can do as we like. Is that so?
Remember, GOD said, IT IS WRITTEN in verses fifty-nine and sixty that we just read,
"And every sickness". So you will die before your promised time of seventy years
because you will not obey the voice of the LORD thy GOD. IT IS WRITTEN.
Adam and Eve were told not to eat certain things, but
they did anyway. We are told not to eat certain things, but we do anyway. Adam and Eve got
the consequences and we suffer for it today. We eat what GOD said we are not to, so we get
the consequence - sickness - and so do our children, to the fourth generation because of
our rebellion. Adam and Eve ate in rebellion, and we do today - there has been no change
in 6,000 years. Because man believes that he is wiser than GOD, you can do what you want -
you can eat what you want, just like Adam and Eve did, and it brought death to mankind.
In Psalms one hundred nineteen, verse ninety-seven
through one hundred five, Ezra says, "O how love I thy LAW! it is my meditation all
the day. Thou through THY commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are
ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers: for THY testimonies are my
meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep THY precepts. I have
refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep THY WORD. I have not departed
from THY judgments: for THOU hast taught me. How sweet are THY words unto my taste! yea,
sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through THY precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate
every false way. THY WORD is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." And in
Proverbs chapter four, verses twenty through twenty-two, "MY son, attend to MY words;
incline thine ear unto MY sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the
midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their
flesh."
I don't know about you, but I want life and want to obey
GOD'S Word, IT IS WRITTEN, because I want to. I am not looking for a loophole in GOD'S
WORD to satisfy my own flesh. If you want to get to heaven in a hurry, eat anything you
want and it will happen. I am here to fulfill GOD'S purpose for my life for HIM.
In I John chapter five, verse three, it tells us,
"For this is the love of GOD, that we keep HIS commandments: and HIS commandments are
not grievous." In Genesis chapter six and verse three it says, "And the LORD
said, MY spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days
shall be an hundred and twenty years." And nowhere in the scripture is this promise
ever revoked.
In Deuteronomy chapter thirty-four and verse seven it
says, "And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not
dim, nor his natural force abated." And Psalms ninety, verse ten says, "The days
of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore
years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
GOD has guaranteed us seventy years and if you die before you reach seventy, sin has
allowed satan to rob you - either through your own disobedience to GOD"S WORD or your
ancestors. Obeying GOD'S LAW of the clean and unclean will add years to your life.
As I write this I am racing towards my 82nd year. Moses
started his ministry at 80, and I am looking for my part of the 120 that we are promised
as we labor in and for the KINGDOM. Do you think GOD had a reason for telling Noah in
Genesis chapter seven and verse two: "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by
sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his
female." GOD had Noah separate the clean and unclean that came over the flood with
Noah. Now, Noah already had to know which was which. Did you ever wonder why there was an
odd clean animal? Genesis, chapter eight and verse twenty tells us, "And Noah builded
an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and
offered burnt offerings on the altar."
JESUS became our offering and fulfilled the laws of
sacrifice at Calvary - the LAMB SLAIN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD. But HE did not
change the laws of the statutes, which are in force today just as the day they were given,
whether I want to obey them or not. If I do, I will receive the blessings of GOD in
Deuteronomy chapter twenty-eight, and not the curses of Deuteronomy chapter twenty-seven.
GOD gave us HIS food laws to give us health and to protect us from the diseases of Egypt.
When we disobey GOD'S health laws, it is sin, and that gives satan a legal right to our
physical bodies, hence, we invite the diseases of Egypt upon ourselves. JESUS said in John
chapter ten verse ten, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I AM come that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly.' JESUS is the WORD, the WORD is JESUS, and it is required that we obey, IT IS
WRITTEN. Our eternal life and health is in the WORD (JESUS) and John chapter three verse
fifteen says, "That whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have eternal
life." If we want to prolong our natural life, which we should if we want to fulfill
GOD'S purpose for us on earth, and to receive the minimum of seventy years that GOD has
allotted us, then our desire must be to obey IT IS WRITTEN. Exodus chapter fifteen verse
twenty-six says, 'If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy GOD, and
wilt do that which is right in HIS sight, and wilt give ear to HIS commandments, and keep
all HIS statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon
the Egyptians: for I AM the LORD that healeth thee." So our health and our salvation
is in obeying IT IS WRITTEN.
JESUS said in Revelations chapter twenty-two and verse
thirteen and fourteen, "I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first
and the last. Blessed are they that do MY commandments, that they may have right to the
tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." The key to life is
not just keeping the commandments, but doing them, so that we have life and are blessed
and not cursed. Revelation chapter twenty-two verses eighteen through twenty reads,
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If
any man shall add unto these things, GOD shall add unto him the plagues that are written
in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy,
GOD shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from
the things which are written in this book. He which testifieth these things saith, Surely
I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, LORD JESUS.
Father, in the name of JESUS, please forgive me for my
disobedience to your Word. I have sinned in ignorance by eating pork, shrimp, lobster,
crab, fat, blood and all manner of unclean food. Cleanse me in YOUR BLOOD, from all
uncleanness and disease that has entered in as a result of this disobedience. I desire to
live my life in accordance with your Word and I repent of these sins and turn away from
them.
Father, your Word states in Lamentations 5:7, "Our
fathers have sinned and are not and we have borne their iniquities." I apply the
cleansing blood of the LORD JESUS CHRIST to the sins my forefathers committed with regard
to the eating of blood, fat, and unclean food. I appropriate Galatians 3:13, wherein
CHRIST has redeemed me from the curse of the law, being made a curse for me, that I no
longer have to live with the consequences of my forefather's disobedience. I break, in the
name of JESUS, every curse upon my life that is there because of my sins or my
forefather's sins of eating blood, fat or unclean foods. I speak to the diseases in my
body that have rights or access to me because of these sins and I command them to leave me
now. I bind all diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, high blood pressure or any other
infirmity that is there because of these sins and I command them to leave my body. I loose
the provision of healing into my body, that the stripes JESUS bore at Calvary entitles me
to. I thank you, Lord, for setting me free.
