NOVEMBER/DECEMBER 2002

Dearest Friends in Christ:

All of us here at Lake Hamilton Bible Camp thank you for your letters and e-mails of support, sympathy, prayers and donations of remembrance. The LORD is our strength and is always good. This issue of Voices is dedicated to Erma, who went to be with the LORD on October 27, 2002. Erma had a massive cerebral hemorrhage, but she never suffered at anytime. For the thirty hours she was in the hospital, she was covered in prayer and song, with as many as twenty people with her in the intensive care unit at one time. It was surely not for lack of faith that the LORD chose not to raise her up. We thank the LORD for the time He shared her with us, and praise Him for the wonderful life she lived. She is survived by her brother Dallas Wharton, her children Merrill Miller and Glenora Gonzalez, Merrill's children Michael, Robert and Christina Miller, and Glenora's children Donald, Daniel and Dennis DuFresne, and Billy Limoges, as well as ten great-grandchildren. In the beginning of October, friends and family had sent us on a cruise to the Bahamas. We had just finished the Deliverance Ministers' Conference two days before. In the September/October issue of Voices, Erma had written her first article in four years, and we published a touching tribute to Erma written by ten-year-old Geri Ross, which we printed for everyone who attended her memorial service. We tried to personally contact friends and family upon Erma's Homegoing, we apologize for those we were not able to reach. A tape of Erma's memorial service is available for those who were unable to attend. There are photos, and a list of the speakers from the service later in this magazine.

Included in this issue is a synopsis from both the Deliverance Ministers' Conference and the Thanksgiving Campmeeting. I encourage you to look over the tapes from the Ministers' Conference, as there are often topics covered that we don't hear much about. It is also your chance to get in on this invitation-only meeting, whose focus is aimed towards deliverance ministers themselves, and their ministries.

Although we are still recovering from our loss, we still have much work to do in furtherance of His Kingdom. We are preparing for the Mid-Winter Campmeeting, featuring the speakers Mildred Coffey, Carl Fox, Dr. William Null, Howard Pittman, Charles Carter and Chris Simpson. The meeting starts with the holiday meal at 2:30 on the 25th and continues through our Watchnight service on the 31st. We hope you will be able to join us as we pray and praise our way into the New Year!

Once again, thank you for your prayers and for the many cards and letters we have received testifying of Erma's influence on their lives. We should all aspire to be the faithful servant of the LORD as Erma was.

Glen Miller
