Asking
and abiding will get answers to your prayers quickly.
The Word says in John 15:7, "If ye abide in Me,
and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you." He may say yes
to your desires, or no - if you are praying amiss.
But the LORD will hear your cry for your needs.
Philippians 4:19 tells us, "But my God shall
supply all your need according to his riches in glory
by Christ Jesus."
My help
comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth. John
16:23 says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he
will give it you." Knock as you seek His face,
and the door will be opened.
The
LORD heareth and will deliver you out of all your
troubles. Many righteouses have been afflicted, but
the LORD delivered them from their troubles. 3 John
1:2, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou
mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul
prospereth."
In
Exodus 15:26, it says, "And said, If thou wilt
diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and
wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His
statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon
thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I
am the LORD that healeth thee."
Mark
16:17 & 18 tells us, "And these signs shall
follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast
out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They
shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly
thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands
on the sick, and they shall recover." Men were
possessed with devils, but Jesus cast them out with
His Word.
His
purpose is that He might destroy the works of the
devil. I John 3:8 says, "He that committeth sin
is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was
manifested, that he might destroy the works of the
devil."
And in
Acts 10:38 it says, "How God anointed Jesus of
Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went
about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed
of the devil; for God was with Him." Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever; God
was with Him. Matthew 21:14 says, "And the blind
and the lame came to Him in the temple; and He healed
them." The multitudes came and He healed them
also, as they lay at His feet. Matthew 15:30,
"And great multitudes came unto Him, having with
them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and
many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and
He healed them."
The
power of the LORD was present to heal in another
account. In Luke 5:17, it says, "And it came to
pass on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there
were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by,
which were come out of every town of Galilee, and
Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was
present to heal them." Restoration came as they
touched the hem of His garment. He commanded to take
up their bed and walk in John 5:8, "Jesus saith
unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.".
Don't
forget about all the benefits: Psalm 103:2,3 says,
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all
his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who
healeth all thy diseases".
Mark
5:36 says, "As soon as Jesus heard the word that
was spoken, He saith unto the ruler of the synagogue,
Be not afraid, only believe." Only
believe and be made whole!
