Dearest Friends in
Christ:
We are still
rehearsing the marvelous miracles that took place
here during our Labor Day Campmeeting. How thankful
we are for the sweet presence of Jesus and the
precious anointing of the Holy Spirit that changes
lives. The Glory of God filled the sanctuary from
early morning until late at night as we came together
to pray, praise and feast on the richness of Bible
truths that each minister shared with us. Brother
Jack Duran ministered each evening of the camp
meeting, speaking on topics such as spiritual
warfare, and curses, and how they affect families. We
were blessed by the messages of Carl Fox, who is
being given wonderful knowledge on blessings and
curses. Dr. Bill Null shared a three-part message on
the renewal through the knowledge of our Father. And
a new part of our family here, Brother Steve Sellar
delivered the Sunday morning message on sowing good
seeds. Order the tapes to share with your pastor or
prayer group.
God brought His
people from near and far. Believers came from TN, KS,
SC, NY, IL, TX, OK, LA, KY, AZ, OH, and MI. We were
so blessed to have people from Hot Springs in almost
every meeting - including the 6 a.m. prayer meeting!
A lady that has lived and worked in Hot Springs for
many years but had never been to Lake Hamilton Bible
Camp, ended up being here for almost every service
and even brought her son to some of the meetings. A
precious saint in her early eighties drove all the
way, by herself, from Nebraska to be here.
Each one came
expecting to see Jesus change their lives and the
lives of their loved ones. And changes there were!
Spirits of suicide, incest, abuse, witchcraft, and
mental illness, just to name a few, were cast out.
Generational curses were broken. One lady called and
said that she and her daughter had to stop twice on
the way home to pray, because the anointing was still
so strong and the demons were still manifesting. We
are preparing for the same blessings to be upon the
upcoming Deliverance Ministers' Conference and the
Thanksgiving Campmeeting.
The Thanksgiving
Campmeeting will see the return of our good friends
Dr. Bill Null and Mildred Coffey, and the long
awaited return of Ben Buchanan, of Rockport, Texas.
Ben last ministered here at Lake Hamilton in 1988. He
is a veteran of over 35 years of fruitful ministry,
including founding a number of growing congregations,
and delivering God's Word throughout the United
States, Canada, South America, and the Caribbean. Jim
Landry, of Beaumont, Texas will also be speaking, as
well as two ministers from the Hot Springs area.
Bishop Charles Carter, who runs the Greater Grace
World Outreach Mission and Shelter here in Hot
Springs, which is one of the area's primary providers
of emergency shelter for the homeless and less
fortunate, and Brother Steve Sellars, a graduate of
Rhema and pastor for fifteen years, who has been
assisting with our weekly Sunday morning services
here at Lake Hamilton.
Labor Day weekend
marked thirty years since the purchase of the
property here in Hot Springs for this storehouse of
the Lord. We are so thankful to continue to be a part
of what God is doing in the earth to bring forth His
Kingdom. When God set us here to oversee His work, we
were already at an age when many people retire, and
actually had retired. His faithfulness never ceases
to amaze us. He had a purpose, far beyond that which
we would ever imagine, and His glory continues to be
revealed in that purpose.
We are blessed to
have in attendance at every Campmeeting, new saints
who have never before experienced the miracle of
deliverance. God sovereignly causes their paths to
cross with Lake Hamilton Bible Camp. The Book and
Tape outreach has been a major artery going forth
from this ministry since back to when we were doing
the tapes and books for the Full Gospel Business
Men's conventions. It has continued for the past
thirty years through our camp meetings and our Voices
From His Excellent Glory magazine. That outreach now
is being extended even farther into every corner of
the globe through our presence on the Internet. The
vision the Lord gave to me for the ministry of this
campground continues to be fulfilled and made real
every time a demon is cast out, a family is restored,
a body is healed, a mind is renewed, and a soul is
saved. We want to thank each and every one of you who
has helped to support this ministry over the years
through prayer, finances and encouragement. You and
your families are why God raised up this ministry for
His Glory.
With abundant
blessing to all our readers and their families,
Glen and Erma Miller
