The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:1-5, "I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"

For 30 years, Lake Hamilton Bible Campground has started each day of the week with a prayer meeting. Not only do we pray for special requests, but we pray every day for our President, Vice-President, Cabinet members, Senators, Congressman, Law Enforcement, Supreme Court, Governors, Mayors, all State and Local officials, Teachers and all who are in authority over us. We do this not only because they need prayer, but so we can live quiet and peaceable lives.

Our country is facing some challenging times, and our leaders are facing challenging decisions daily. We know the Lord has a plan for us and for this nation.
