ULTIMATE RECONCILIATION |
There are many deceptions or heresies in the Body of Christ today, and those who propagate these heresies all use Scriptures to prove their point of view. We are told by Jesus in Matthew 24:24, "That there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." And Paul says in Galatians 1:6,7, "I marvel that you are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another Gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the Gospel of Christ." And this could never be more true than today. This implies that there are those that have not attained unto the VERY elect that are being deceived.
In the late 1960s while Erma and I were traveling with the Full Gospel Business Men, running the book table and making the tapes of the conventions, we naturally became acquainted with the speakers at the conventions and were invited by some of the very prominent speakers of that time to come and tape a convention they were having in California. We had an open calendar for those dates so we accepted.
It was an introduction to the heresy of the doctrine of Ultimate Reconciliation and my blood ran cold when I heard a very prominent speaker say that God was not a God of love if He didnt forgive satan and give him back his position in heaven.
And one day, in the eons of time, they were going to walk heavens streets of gold, arm in arm with satan.
Since then I have found that this heresy has been around for hundreds of years and crops up from time to time. At the present time it is again going through the country, deceiving many with its "false peace."
Lake Hamilton Bible Camp has a letter that we have given out for many years, to all prospective speakers, and one of the things we make very clear is our stand against this heresy. This is not to say that some who have been speakers at the Camp are not now teaching this damnable heresy.
If you deny that the devil is condemned to everlasting fire, you automatically repudiate both the truth and the justice of God. By this subtle deception, satan has tricked you into taking sides with him against God. You cannot be at one and the same time, the advocate of satan and the friend of God. If you persist in this attitude, Gods justice demands that He deal with you as with the devil. You will one day hear those fearful words, "Depart from Me into everlasting fire."
If the teaching of Ultimate Reconciliation be true, then Jesus dying on the cross was a fake and Gods Word is a lie and a fantasy tale.
Paul tells us in Galatians 1:8-9, "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, LET HIM BE ACCURSED."
