Over 40 states have already legalized gambling. There are many types of gambling in the U.S. – lottery, bingo, horse and dog racing, etc. Each time you gamble, the spirit gets stronger. There are Midianite spirits involved here – the little foxes – a ‘something for nothing’ spirit. Churches are becoming more and more open to this spirit. Gambling is a major cause of family neglect and is especially harmful in financially oppressed areas. Jim uses many scriptures. Thou shalt not covet - Ex 20:17. Deut 5:16 "Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee." Bro. Landry reviews the results of not honoring your parents, which places you under a curse. (Deut 27:16) He reviews the common ways children dishonor their parents, i.e. not showing respect, judging parents for their sins, rebelling against parents discipline, mocking parents to others, exposing parents sins and belittling parents. He then reviews how these actions plant tares (seeds) that bare bitter fruit in our lives and the lives of our children.
