Jesus was sent to heal the broken hearted. He stated in Mt 13:16 that the people had a calloused (hard) heart. The devil fears you and wants you to have a broken heart so that you don’t understand the gospel and destroy his kingdom. Jesus wants you healed. Broken or sorrowful hearts cause a broken spirit and sickness (Pro 15:13). Rejection, deep wounding, anguish, disappointment and many other things will cause a broken heart.
